These sensitive items were not just opened but returned in a manner that speaks to carelessness, or worse, a lack of regard for the individuals they are supposed to support.

The repercussions of this breach of trust were devastating. Imagine, for a moment, having your financial access disrupted overnight. In my case, I was unable to attend the Oscars—a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in my professional career. I couldn’t pay invoices, meet critical film production deadlines, or even cover my rent.
